A beautiful falls set in a beautiful little village, this is one of the prettiest plunge class waterfalls in Ontario. Maybe one of the prettiest waterfalls, period. About 10-12 m in height, the water falls over a prominent limestone formation, and drops vertically to the pretty plunge pool at the base of the falls.

This waterfall has one of the most spectacular overhangs in Ontario, enabling some explorers to walk right behind the jet. I believe that only Mystery Falls is comparable in this regard. The only drawback to this site is that it can be very busy in summer. It's not uncommon to find 5 to 10 or more people wading and swimming in the beautiful plunge pool below.

This waterfall is featured in the 'Waterfalls of Ontario' book. Please pick up a copy to learn more. This helps to support this project.
