A beautiful falls that is right beside the road. I can't remember for sure, but believe that the river passes under a one-lane bridge. The road has become quite narrow by this point. A regular car will reach the site, but do be aware that you may not see anyone else down this way all day.
There are no trails or viewing locations, and you would have to choose to clamber down a hill into the woods to get the best views.
The falls are steep but have a blocky, layered appearance. This is the result of the creek tumbling over an exposure of modestly metamorphosed sedimentary rock, likely sandstone and siltstone belonging to the Gowganda formation.
Looking downstream, I was able to descend through the woods on the right side. The falls is very close to the road, but there is no trail and any attempt to get to the base of the falls would require climbing over fallen trees, rocks, and uneven ground. Located about 25 mins drive south from Cobalt.
This waterfall is coded because it is located on a remote road that begins to deteriorate as one approaches the falls. Access to the falls also requires traversing some uneven ground and short, steep hills. There are no vertical cliffs along the trail, but lots of uneven ground and broken rock. I expect that most fit adults that take their time and use caution will be able to visit without incident.
