Our Responsibility
Waterfalls get closed when people are injured or ruin lands.

Please don't trespass, don't litter, and stay on the trail.

A small waterfall located where Killarney Lake drains to the east end of Freeland Lake, about 1.5 km north from the road to Killarney. It is a broad slide formed on glacially smoothed bedrock. The difference in elevation between the two lakes is 12 m, but the falls itself is nowhere near this high.

This is accessible by water only. One can put a canoe/kayak in at the George Lake Campground and then paddle north and east for about 6 km. The time is reported to take about 1.5 hrs each way, with fantastic Killarney scenery along the way. The parking directions button leads to the George Lake Campground, for convenience.

NOTE: This waterfall is coded red because it cannot be visited without paddling. I've been advised that the paddling only takes a little over an hour each way, but, that you should keep an eye on the weather. Strong west winds on George Lake can make the return trip much longer.
