This is another one of the top-notch waterfalling sites in northeastern Ontario. The falls is large, has multiple cascades, and is easy to visit. Well, it's easy to get a panoramic view from the A.Y. Jackson lookout, right off Hwy 144.

It gets a bit more difficult to get close to the falls, although not overly so. With some effort, visitors walk down to the base of the falls and then up along the river, all the way to a footbridge at the top of the falls. A visitor center includes a good parking lot and access to a number of trails.

This waterfall is featured in the 'Waterfalls of Ontario' book. Please pick up a copy to learn more. This helps to support this project.
