This falls is also simply known as Pen Falls. It is accesssible only by canoe, and located along a 250 m-long channel between Pen Lake and Rock Lake. The elevation falls 11 m along this stretch, though only part of this drop happens at the falls itself.

The paddle is about 5 km south from the beach at the Rock Lake Campground. The little creek is too rough and shallow to paddle through, and so the portage runs parallel to the creek, about 50 m to the west. The falls is a trough type, followed by several low rapids, all no more than 5-6 m wide and a couple of metres tall.

The driving directions lead to the Rock Lake Access Point, which is right before the campground. This is for the convenience of those that may elect to park and paddle from this point.
